Takako (貴子 Takako) is the main antagonist of the series. In her evil state, Takako adopts the name Fenrir, the Princess of Disaster ( 災妃フェンリル , Saihi Fenriru ) .
Summary[]
Takako, was the last Prétear sixteen years before Himeno Awayuki. Her powers and her emotional turmoil eventually turned towards evil, turning her into Fenrir, Princess of Disaster. As Fenrir, her ultimate goal is to destroy the world by taking away the Leafé that preserves all life.
In the anime, Sasame confesses that he had loved her all along. And he becomes her Knight of Darkness, and she orders him to kill Hayate, making him her knight.
Takako fell in love with Hayate, but he was unable to reciprocate her feelings (handling it diferently depending on the media), causing her to become heartbroken and turn towards evil. At the end of the series, Himeno's kindness and Sasame's death out of love for her enabled her to regain her humanity and return to normal. She was last seen alongside the revived Sasame.

- In the anime Takako assumes the form of a maid at the Awayuki estate named Mikage, who is friendly with Himeno and regularly provides her with advice while secretly watching over her and hoping to corrupt her.
- In Norse mythology, Fenrir (Old Norse: "fen-dweller"), Fenrisúlfr (Old Norse: "Fenris wolf"), Hróðvitnir (Old Norse: "fame-wolf"), or Vánagandr (Old Norse: "the monster of the river Ván") is a monstrous wolf.
- After Takako is returned to her human form and Sasame is mortally wounded, Himeno suggests that Takao use her powers to try and heal Sasame. However, Hayate notes that while Takako can still "take" and "manipulate" Leafé, Thanks to the changes within her from her time as the Princess of Disaster, she no longer possessed the ability to give Leafé to others.
